eXu 24 Hour Pantomime

On the 24th February, the Explorers are performing a pantomime at the Parish Hall at 7pm (doors open 6:30pm). The slight twist is that they only get the script at 7pm just 24 hours beforehand. So they have that period to arrange the cast, learn the script, make costumes and build scenery. There won’t be much sleeping going on!

We know how busy everyone is so this is your advanced warning to book in the performance so you can come and support us and be a super audience.

Any assistance at all with costumes and set building from 9am on the 24th would be great, we’re hoping to ride off the waves of volunteer success from the Gang Show! Any help will be coordinated through our Active Support Unit headed by Neil Benson.

Big Bouncy Blow Out! Friday 14th July

We are celebrating another fantastic year at 20th Sheffield Scout Group with the Big Bouncy Blow Out!

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Parents, Friends and Family are all welcome to join us at Abbeydale Sports Club for an evening of fun and food!

We have hired out five of the best inflatable games out there, consisting of;

> A massive 25 foot Bouncy Castle

> A super long 40 foot Bungee Run

> An even longer 60 foot assault course

> Gladiator Jousting

> Sumo Wrestling Suits

You get unlimited use of all of these for the price of a £5 wristband (6yrs+). For anyone not wanting to go on the inflatables, you are welcome to the event free of charge.

We’ll be running field games alongside the inflatable festivities. There’s also a BBQ serving proper foot long hotdogs and Beef Burgers, and a full bar for the over 18s.

See you all there!
