Lads and Dads Camp 23rd – 25th September, Chatsworth

Our annual Lads and Dads camp will once again be held in the wilds of the Chatsworth Estate.

And for those who have camped at Chatsworth before, we have a new addition – a gate!  No longer a need to lift all the kit over the wall!

The camp is open to Scouts from both Troops and will be an action packed weekend full of fun and challenges for Lads and Dads to do together plus Lads v Dads games and challenges. Although at the end of the weekend we will crown our new champion Lad and Dad, the emphasis of the weekend is on fun.

If you would like to come and for more details, please visit MyScout to sign up and pay for the event.

For safeguarding reasons you will need to complete a DBS Check – the new name for CRB. The form is available at the bottom of the details on MyScout. Please get the form to your leader as soon as possible. Once processed you will be invited to confirm which ID documents you will be presenting for checking.  After this, you will have to meet with us so we can see the ID and confirm it on the system.

ID :  you will need – One document from group 1  and Two further documents from group 1, 2a or 2b, one of which must verify your current address.

If you have a scout DBS check from last 5 years, this is still valid so no need for the above process.

queen-90th-birthday-badgeTHANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who baked cakes and helped to serve the elderly people of our Parish to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday.

We have received many comments of thanks of how polite and helpful all the Scouts and Explorers were.
