Come and be part of the 10th Birthday Party celebrations at Walesby Forest, scene of many eXu events over the past 10 years.  Ex-members will get the chance to reminisce and catch up with old friends as well as take part in some typical activities, enjoy a hog-roast & BBQ and find out what has been going on at eXu since they left.  Current members will enjoy their annual Spring Camp and have the chance to get themselves prepared to jet off to Switzerland a week later.

Planning has begun and we expect the weekend to look like this:

Friday 12th July 2013

Current members arrive and pitch camp.  Evening wide game and then time around the fire before bed.

Saturday 13th July 2013

Current members’ activities: rafting, climbing and water zorbing

Ex-members arrive from 11.00am.  Pitch tents
Picnic lunch at 1.00pm – everyone
Afternoon activities for ex-members:  giant crates, low ropes, leap of faith, archery (optional)
Chance to chill out in the sunshine and catch up

Hog roast and BBQ from 6.00pm
Speeches, Awards and memories from 7.30pm
Disco from 9.00pm

Sunday 14th July 2013

Breakfast at 9.00am
Current members’ activities:  low ropes & crazy golf
Ex-members’ activities:  rafting, climbing, water zorbing, orienteering (optional)
Lunch at 1.00pm (cheese dreams? opinions, please!)
Strike camp from 3.00pm

Weekend fees:
Current members: £55 everything included
Ex-members / Leaders / supporters:  £50* (includes Sat lunch & dinner, Sun breakfast & lunch, camping fees)  Optional activities extra – see booking form
Day tickets available for Saturday or Sunday – £25

*Ex-members will need to provide their own tent(s) and to be aware of exhibiting appropriate behaviours around the current Explorers
