Next Meeting is Tuesday 31st January 8pm at the Scout Room

The Group Exec Committee is the body that “runs” the Scout Group. It is made up of parents, supporters and section leaders and deals with fund raising and all the necessary admin that needs to be done eg, paying the rent for the Scout Room,  taxing, insuring and maintaining the minibus, and dealing with the accounts etc.   We always welcome more help so if you can spare a small amount of time to help us, please get in touch with your section leader.

Volunteer100

Volunteer100 – our chance to put something back into the community as part of our centenary celebrations.
As a Group, we are aiming to do 100 acts of volunteering throughout the year.  Some of these will be organised by the Leaders but the focus is very much on individual volunteering acts.   Some examples of this could be helping an elderly neighbour with shopping or gardening,  helping another charity, helping out at a church event- anything where each Scout gives some time to help others.
